Hyundai’s founder believed nothing was impossible. So when faced with a wave of EV skepticism, we channelled his philosophy of ‘Have you Tried it'?’ to push these cars to their limits and change perceptions once and for all.
To do this, we embarked on a great Australian road trip that would prove these cars could go the distance… and then some.
What started as an idea for an extreme product demo evolved from a brand film into a prime-time reality TV show. ‘The Big Trip’ followed Aussie celebs as they traversed 3,930km of the country's most unforgiving terrain, tackling inventive challenges from the Nullarbor to Sydney.
Each challenge—whether racing camels in a hybrid or attempting to call your mum during a burnout—was deliberately crafted to embody the brand’s tenacious trying spirit.
The winning team gave their followers $300k worth of Hyundai EVs and hybrids in prizes.
This mobile content factory generated compelling evidence at every turn, proving that Hyundai's range of EVs and hybrids can tackle anything Australia throws their way.
